Disco Biscuits‘ Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner continue making waves with their electronic-infused side project, Conspirator. The band spent the summer appearing at the country’s best electronic music festivals, such as Ultra Music Festival, Nocturnal Texas, Electric Forest, and Camp Bisco 10 alongside almost every major electronic artist in the game.
As part of their current tour outing, Philly fans were treated to a standing room only performance at The Blockley Saturday night in front of a brand new LED light display that set the perfect backdrop for the evening. Special guest drummer, KJ Sawka of Pendulum, laid down a beefy foundation for Brownstein and Magner who proceeded to steer the crowd through a mesmerizing ensemble of house fusion, LED visuals, and even a live painting by artist Gwen AP.
Manger gave an especially impassioned performance, as his physical output and emphasis over his crafty key work put the show over-the-top.
This concert marked the first since Conspirator released two new tracks exclusively with ThisSongIsSick.com in early October, dropping Avicii‘s “Seek Bromance Remix,” and new Conspirator song, “Gypsy Lane.” This show also marked the final night of Conspirator‘s second major tour of 2011. The band honored their Facebook call for requests and performed The Disco Biscuits‘ “Flash Mob,” for adoring fans on their home turf.
We know you are here for the pictures, so without further ado.
